Coupons submitted before or after this period will not be considered.<\/p><ol start=\"5\"><li>Prizes<\/li><\/ol><ul><li><strong>Grand Prize:<\/strong> A gift voucher worth <strong>\u20ac2,000<\/strong>, valid for services at The Hotel Ljubljana or The Restaurant Ljubljana from April 16, 2026, to April 16, 2027 (excluding December 31, 2026).<\/li><li><strong>Second Prize:<\/strong> A gift voucher worth <strong>\u20ac1,000<\/strong>, valid for services at The Hotel Ljubljana or The Restaurant Ljubljana for the same period (excluding December 31, 2026).<\/li><li><strong>Third Prize:<\/strong> A voucher worth <strong>\u20ac500<\/strong>, valid for services at The Hotel Ljubljana or The Restaurant for the same period (excluding December 31, 2026).<\/li><li><strong>Additional Prizes:<\/strong> Lunch\/dinner vouchers at The Restaurant, vouchers for The Spa, overnight stays for two at The Hotel Ljubljana, and various other prizes.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Important Prize Conditions:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash.<\/li><li>Prizes are <strong>non-transferable<\/strong>.<\/li><li>The organizer is not liable for any consequences arising from the use of the prize.<\/li><\/ul><ol start=\"6\"><li>The Draw<\/li><\/ol><ul><li>The public draw will take place on <strong>April 16, 2026<\/strong>, at <strong>The Restaurant<\/strong>, Cankarjevo nabre\u017eje 29, 1000 Ljubljana.<\/li><li>Winners will be drawn from all correctly completed coupons present at the draw.<\/li><li><strong>Presence is mandatory:<\/strong> The participant must be present or authorize another person to attend on their behalf.<\/li><li>If a winner (or their representative) is not present, the draw will be repeated until a winner is found.<\/li><li>Winners will also be announced on The Hotel Lj website and social media.<\/li><\/ul><ol start=\"7\"><li>Taxation<\/li><\/ol><p>Because the prize value exceeds \u20ac42, the organizer will pay the <strong>advance income tax<\/strong> in accordance with Slovenian law (ZDoh-2). Winners must provide their <strong>tax ID number<\/strong> within 8 days of the draw; otherwise, they forfeit the prize.<\/p><ol start=\"8\"><li>Privacy and Data Protection<\/li><\/ol><ul><li>The organizer will protect personal data (name, address, email) in accordance with <strong>GDPR<\/strong> and Slovenian law (ZVOP-2).<\/li><li>Data will be processed for the purposes of organizing the draw, notifying winners, and publicizing results.<\/li><li>By completing the coupon, participants agree to receive <strong>marketing materials<\/strong> via email. Purpose of processing and legal bases (Art. 6 GDPR)<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"261\" data-end=\"615\">(a) <strong data-start=\"265\" data-end=\"294\">Conduct of the prize draw<\/strong> (receipt and verification of entries, organization of the draw, notification of winners, awarding of prizes, handling of complaints): Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR \u2013 performance of a contractual relationship under these terms; additionally Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR \u2013 legitimate interest in ensuring a transparent draw and preventing abuse.<\/p><p data-start=\"617\" data-end=\"850\">(b) <strong data-start=\"621\" data-end=\"688\">Compliance with legal obligations related to taxation of prizes<\/strong> (e.g. collection and submission of the winner\u2019s tax number, calculation\/payment of advance income tax): Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR in conjunction with ZDoh-2 and ZDavP-2.<\/p><p data-start=\"852\" data-end=\"1734\">(c) <strong data-start=\"856\" data-end=\"886\">Direct marketing by e-mail<\/strong> (newsletters, offers). Making participation in the prize draw conditional upon consent to direct marketing is not considered an impermissible condition, because the prize draw is not part of the organizer\u2019s core or contractual service, but constitutes a public promise of a reward (Articles 207\u2013211 of the Obligations Code). Participation is entirely voluntary and is not linked to access to or use of the organizer\u2019s services; therefore such consent is valid, freely given, and does not constitute tied selling or coercion. Marketing is also carried out under the \u201csoft opt-in\u201d regime pursuant to Article 226 of ZEKom-2: the e-mail address was obtained in the context of selling our services and concerns similar services; participants always have the option of free and easy opt-out at the time of collection and in every message (Art. 21 GDPR).<\/p><p data-start=\"1736\" data-end=\"1761\"><strong data-start=\"1736\" data-end=\"1761\">2. Categories of data<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"1763\" data-end=\"2006\">First and last name, e-mail address, telephone number; addresses are collected only from winners for prize delivery and tax\/accounting purposes. Data entered on the coupon that are not necessary for conducting the prize draw are not processed.<\/p><p data-start=\"2008\" data-end=\"2029\"><strong data-start=\"2008\" data-end=\"2029\">3. Source of data<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"2031\" data-end=\"2075\">Directly from the participant (coupon\/form).<\/p><p data-start=\"2077\" data-end=\"2121\"><strong data-start=\"2077\" data-end=\"2121\">4. Recipients \/ categories of recipients<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"2123\" data-end=\"2379\">Contractual processors (e.g. accounting, IT\/draw services under supervision), the Financial Administration of the Republic of Slovenia for tax obligations, postal and delivery service providers where necessary. No transfers outside the EEA are carried out.<\/p><p data-start=\"2381\" data-end=\"2410\"><strong data-start=\"2381\" data-end=\"2410\">5. Publication of winners<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"2412\" data-end=\"2661\">For transparency purposes, we publish the first name and the initial of the last name and the place (or the coupon identification number). Publication of photographs or the full name is carried out only on the basis of the winner\u2019s separate consent.<\/p><p data-start=\"2663\" data-end=\"2687\"><strong data-start=\"2663\" data-end=\"2687\">6. Retention periods<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"2689\" data-end=\"2983\">\u2013 <strong data-start=\"2691\" data-end=\"2713\">non-winners\u2019 data:<\/strong> up to 3 months after completion of the draw (complaints\/appeals period), then deletion\/anonimization;<br data-start=\"2815\" data-end=\"2818\" \/>\u2013 <strong data-start=\"2820\" data-end=\"2879\">winners\u2019 data and related accounting\/tax documentation:<\/strong> 10 years from the end of the business year in which the prize was awarded (accounting\/tax legislation).<\/p><p data-start=\"2985\" data-end=\"3011\"><strong data-start=\"2985\" data-end=\"3011\">7. Data subject rights<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"3013\" data-end=\"3236\">Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, objection (in particular to marketing), withdrawal of consent; complaint to the Information Commissioner (<a class=\"decorated-link\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ip-rs.si\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"3182\" data-end=\"3194\">www.ip-rs.si<\/a>).
